CLOUD SERVICES

Whether you are considering moving applications to the cloud, providing cloud services for a specific department, using the cloud for disaster recovery, or moving your entire IT function to the cloud, there’s a lot of IT work to be done to make it work. Corporate Power can take care of it for you. We can help you avoid common problems (incremental moves, for example, may not work as expected) and develop a strategy that will meet your business requirements and be technologically viable and affordable. Corporate Power can assist with any of the following, as applicable:

  • Migrating your applications or servers to the public cloud (e.g. Microsoft Office 365, Google Apps, Amazon, Microsoft Azure, IBM BlueMix/Watson), and configuring solutions. Neither Microsoft nor other cloud providers typically provide this service, which is needed to prevent lost data and disconnected employees.

  • Configuring public cloud solutions, whether applications (such as Microsoft Office 365 and Dropbox) or servers. Corporate Power can set up shared calendars/folders, and establish user security, data retention and backup policies, and others.

  • Monitoring and supporting your public cloud solutions. When you are moving to a public cloud provider, Corporate Power can help you make the right choices among the hundreds of different services, packages, and configurations, each with their own fees, service levels, and security considerations.

  • Managing your public cloud server. Cloud server solutions require IT support services similar to those needed with in-house servers. Corporate Power can manage your cloud server for you. We track alerts and resolve issues for you.

  • Implementing/managing a private cloud environment, with customization as required.

  • Establishing a business continuity and disaster recovery program through cloud-based solutions, tailored to your specific business applications.

  • Assessing, strengthening, and monitoring of cloud security, including conducting IT security assessments and implementing cloud/on-site security solutions
